The Sian Ka'an is a fully protected United Nations Wildlife Preserve & Biosphere on Mexico's balmy caribbean coast, with development restrictions, no high rise, no traffic, no neighbours. The air is fresh, the water clean, the location idyllic. An absence of light pollution means a brilliantly clear sky with superb stargazing.
Two hours drive from Tulum, this is an authentic back-to-nature experience on the historic Costa Maya, where the pristine coral reef meets the shore and delivers a stunning diversity of marine and wildlife. Surf cast for barracuda, snapper & jack, or fly fish for the tarpon, bonefish and permit which abound in these warm clear waters.
The stylish, fully furnished two story lodge sleeps six comfortably, has a sunken lounge, upstairs balcony, downstairs patio, marble-finished bathrooms, solar power and propane fridge. A canoe is available for lagoon exploration, or you may organize a variety of activities and tours through us, including kayaking, flyfishing, sailing and ocean fishing.
Cost per week is US$2000. All furnishings, linen and kitchen utensils are supplied, with daily maid service and basic supplies included.
There are two grocery stores in Punta Allen where you may obtain groceries, but supplies are often limited. If you wish to self-cater, we suggest supermarket shopping in Tulum. We are not licensed so bring your own alcohol, or we can supply upon request. If you wish to arrive to a fully-stocked kitchen but want to self cater, we can supply all provisions you request at cost price plus a service fee of $100.
Alternatively, we offer an in-house cook and all food supplied for an additional $1250 per week. You may choose from chicken, pork, fresh fish, fruits and produce. Lobster is a local delicacy which we are happy to serve upon request - and for a truly unique culinary experience, enquire about our authentic Mayan cuisine, prepared and served by a local Mayan to traditional recipes.
The eco lodge is environmentally-friendly and powered only by solar panels. Water supply is limited to rainwater, and as such, energy conservation and awareness is essential.
We can arrange transport to and from Cancun, direct from airport to lodge for $200 per van (each way) if required.
Note: We require a security deposit, and the house is not child-proof. Children welcome at own risk.
